ITADAKIMASU!

I've been super busy lately I forgot to check on my blog(as always)! Tons of pictures to upload (not tons really, as net speed is not so speedy).

So.. Last week, as part of learning the Japanese way in our Humanities5 class (Foreign Language - Nippongo), we've been assigned to bring snacks na kakainin using chopsticks. Some brought puto, others kikiam, fishballs, pancit, and teoggochi (I don't know how to spell it though ako ang naassign na bumili para sa group namin. And by the way, it's a Korean snack na parang kakanin dito sa Pilipinas pero naka-lumpia wrap).

Japanese people give thanks before a meal by saying ITADAKIMASU (read as 'itadakimas' losing the -u) which is kinda similar to the 'Buon appetito' of the Italians.

PICTURES! *Halos kuha lahat ni Phoebe ang mga 'to (malamang pwera yung mga kasali sya)
Phoebe and Ailyn
Grabeng tuwa ni Phoebe nung kumain kaming lahat gamit ang chopsticks. Ang takaw ^_^
Buffet style, pulutan, Ferrer Sensei (Japanese for 'teacher') doing our all-time favorite Japan-Japan V-sign (she kinda looks Jap, di ba?)
I loved how everyone was all smiles for the camera kahit na busy kumain.

GOCHISOSAMA-DESHITA! (Thank you for the good meal!)
